About Us

Meet Dr. Brooks Hunsaker

Dr. Brooks is dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized dental care. He completed his undergraduate studies at Utah Valley University before earning his dental degree from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. After graduating, he practiced for several years in Grants Pass, Oregon, before relocating with his family to the Boise area to continue building his career.

Dr. Brooks has pursued advanced training in a range of procedures, including implant placement, root canal therapy, and oral surgery, allowing him to offer patients comprehensive care under one roof. He holds himself to a high standard with every treatment, taking seriously the responsibility of caring for his patients' oral health.

Recognizing that dental visits bring anxiety or fear for many patients, Dr. Brooks has spent a significant amount of time learning techniques to help patients feel more comfortable throughout their treatment, especially during delivery of anesthetic. Combined with his calm, friendly demeanor, this approach helps put patients at ease.

Dr. Brooks believes strongly in patient-centered care. Rather than dictating treatment, he sees his role as providing clear guidance and honest recommendations — while honoring each patient's right to decide what's best for them. This collaborative philosophy ensures patients feel heard, informed, and empowered every step of the way.

Outside the office, Dr. Brooks enjoys spending quality time with his family — whether it's going on walks together, visiting local parks, or simply relaxing at home. He also values time spent with friends and family, and cherishes the opportunity to be part of the Boise community.
